Alonso Cedillo Mata (b.1988) is a Mexican painter and media artist.



On 2006 he began his professional studies in painting. He’s a former student of Gilberto Aceves Navarro
and Rodrigo Pimentel.

On 2009 he began his bachelor studies on visual arts at the National School of Painting, Sculpture, and Printmaking,
“La Esmeralda” in Mexico City. There, he began working with video, computers and internet, making inceptions
between reality and fiction.

Since 2012 he has also focused on art theory and research producing drik magazine.
He's an habitual contributor to drik magazine and FAQ MAG.

Cedillo’s work was featured at the donaufestival(9) in Krems, NRML Festival 2014 in Monterrey, and has been shown
and collected in Mexico, USA, Argentina, Austria, and the United Arab Emirates.
