An hyperlink to the past...
I built this
website during my college years and kept it active until my graduation
in 2013. I consider it to be specially important in my work as it
resumes my interest on the relational nature of the internet and the
transition from wanting to have viewers into my desire of having users.
Since 2009 I started painting videogames and trying to create them
using video. In 2011 I finally decided to actually program videogames
using Adobe Flash and later exclusively HTML. Most of my work from
those days is still held in this website.
this webpage has a mixed structure that runs on basic html and Adobe
Flash. Hence you might experience compatibility problems when running
the site from an iPad or iPhone. Please consider too that though still
online, Quicktime VR is no longer supported and my works made using
this format won't run anymore. However they've been kept as a memory of
an obsolete artwork file, a phenomena that I find incredibly beautiful.
most of my video works from those days are set as private content on my
Vimeo channel they can be browsed through this website's flash
interfaces. Those videos weren't made to be projected nor to be watched
individualy. My idea was to display them as contemplative levels on
flash videogames shaped as maps. To watch the videos in Makke Hantz and
Kali Yuga use the password: pasthyperlink
The main reason
for opening this hyperlink to the past is to recreate my initial
interest on having a personal website that worked as a platform for my
work but also as a work of art. By 2010 I decided to focus on videogame
programming and develpoved a strong interest on the concept of Easter
Egg, which are hidden levels or elements inside the worlds in a game.
This website holds several Easter Eggs that are hidden using Adobe
Flash animation. One of them is in main banner. It can be accesed by
clicking repeatedly in the red vertical rectangle. Others can be
accesed through the Kali Yuga level by clicking on the green spot on
the lower left border of the map. The website holds more easter
eggs but I have forgotten where I hid them. Feel free to look for them.
If the "back" buttons are missing please hit back on your web browser
to return to the previous html. By clicking home you will leave An Hyperlink to the past...
reason to set this website back on is to make availabe my video game
series known as virus works. Most of them are available here on beta or
incomplete versions, as most of the original files got lost. However
loosing those files was one of the most important moments of my career,
as it marked the moment in which I stoped using Adobe Flash and video
cameras to focus entirely on HTML, data, social networks, and screen recordings, which is the main axis of my work today.
On the other hand, the original nimda corporation website is also available through An Hyperlink to the past...
Please forgive any malfunction while experiencing my website:
